I’ll keep this short. I have played at all of the UK-facing casinos on this site. So my casino reviews are based purely on my experiences and reflect the good, the bad and the ugly! I hope this will be helpful when making your choice of where to play.
UK Licensing & Regulation
A Safe Casino Environment
As of the 1st November 2014, all online casinos accepting UK players were required to have a UKGC licence under the 2014 Gambling (Licensing & Advertising) Act. This is designed to do things: ensure that offshore-based online casinos pay tax and that players know they are playing at a safe and regulated casino where they have recourse should a problem occur. As the casinos reviewed here on Casino UK get licenced, you will see this clearly indicated in each casino review.
More Recommended Casinos
The online casinos I have highlighted in panels on Online Casino UK represent the places that I have played most regularly down the years but there are others that have stood out over that time, some of which I still play today.
With the advent of mobile casinos for phones and tablets, I have also tried a few of these, mostly on my iPad because I find even a 5″ smartphone screen too small to enjoy. I have started to write some of these sessions up in the mobile casinos section if this appeals to you but this area still appears to be in its infancy so don’t expect quite the experience you get on a PC, Mac or a laptop yet. Not least because the games choice is still comparatively small.
