Casinomeister Review

Casinomeister
When I started playing online casinos, some 5 years ago, I was unaware that forums and watchdog sites like Casinomeister even existed. But like you do, one day I stunbled on the forum there and 7,000+ posts later I haven't looked back! I am now a moderator (profile: Simmo!) so of course this review shows some bias, but it is seriously the best player forum around. If you ever have a problem or need to know how good/bad a casino really is...head to Casinomeister!

The guy who runs the site has now become a friend. Bryan lives in Germany and has been running the Meister site since 1998. The site comprises an information portal and a forum primarily but the former bit is quite different and while I concentrate mainly on my online casino reviews, the Meister is far more into identifying the bad boys! The portal also has a detailed FAQ that I wrote up, the basics of which can be found in my casino tips section here at OCUK.

You'll find pages on the portal side of the site that deal with Rogue Casinos, Accredited casinos and all sorts of warnings. Such is the popularity of the Casinomeister site that every casino and his dog wants to be in the Accredited Section - but it's not a paid position - it's entirely down to how that casino treats the players. Every year the Meister Awards come out. These are revered by all who are involved in the industry and aside from the obvious "Best Casino" stuff, there are some amusing ones too - like "Most Annoying Player" etc. For what it's worth, my favourite 32Red casino has just won "Casino Of The Decade" there!

The casino forum itself is a hive of activity with a strong, if sometimes volatile audience. Gambling is an emotional topic so some debates get very heated at times. Flaming, spamming and general aggravations are not tolerated at all and users get banned pretty regularly, although most people know the score by now. But it's an essential place to get the lowdown on the casino industry.

As far as forum members go, it's a good blend of players and affiliates who on the whole get on well. An affiliate or dodgy casino is left in no doubt about when they have done something wrong - I'm waiting for the day someone pulls me up on Online Casino UK - I try to be pretty objective but some of these guys have eyes like hawks!

So my best advice to any online casino player is to stop by Casinomeister, check out the "Rogue Pit" and the Foum in particular. Even if you just lurk, it's a wealth of great information but feel free to introduce yourself.
