Kerching Casino Review
Not a great many people will have heard of Kerching casino because it's relatively new, competing in a crowded market and
doesn't have the benefit of an existing highstreet brand name. It's competing with the likes of
Virgin casino, Paddy Power casino and one of my own favourites, Blue Square casino all of which use exactly the
same software and have a very similar set of games. However, one thing Kerching does have going
for it is that it is owned by Barcrest, the big-name UK fruit machine games manufacturer and this
alone makes it an interesting subject for a casino review here at Online Casino UK.
If you want a second opinion, then my mate at OCR has also played and written up a
Kerching review
now and you'll see, we are both pretty much in agreement that it's as good as you'd expect from an IGT
brand.
You may have already read my online casino reviews on other casinos using Wagerworks software, in which case it will not be surprising to hear that the number of more traditional casino games are more limited. Of course you'll find Blackjack, Roulette and even 3-Card Poker, along with a handful of video poker games too, but compared to the likes of Ladbrokes casino or the excellent 32Red Casino the choice is a little disppointing. Kerching casino is definitely a good choice for slot games but less so for card games. that.
One thing worth mentioning, and again this is standard practice at all Wagerworks-powered casinos and not just at Kerching casino, is that the method you use to deposit funds becomes your only method of withdrawal unless for some reason (ie Mastercard) the payment processing company doesn't allow refunds, in which case a cheque is the other option. It's no big problem generally and is in place to protect casinos from money laundering, a legal requirement in most places.
Kerching Games
It's no big surprise therefore than being owned by Barcrest, the main focus of play at Kerching Casino is on slot machines. The decision to team up with Wagerworks, who themselves are owned by the massive slot machine company IGT, is therefore a very good choice in my opinion. As i wrote this review, there is, surprisingly in my opinion, a shortfall of Barcrest fruit machines int the Kerching games armoury, but this is more than made up for by the presence of other games like "Cleopatra" (I and II), "Wolf Run", "Davinci Diamonds" and a host of other IGT slots. You may have already read my online casino reviews on other casinos using Wagerworks software, in which case it will not be surprising to hear that the number of more traditional casino games are more limited. Support & Service
So far so good. I have contacted support on a couple of occassions, and while they are not the fastest in the world, they respond pretty quickly and it seems, knowledgably although I didn't over-stretch them! The cashouts are done every 24 hours and pleasingly, there is no "reverse pending" process to go through so it doesn't make you reverse any cashouts and chase your losses. The ID and documentation process, which is standard procedure at all online casinos, was painless and quick. You'd expect this from a casino licenced in Alderney who are renowned for being strict on licensing. My casino tips page expands on this topic.
