Mansion Casino Review
I'd become familiar with the Mansion casino
brand through watching Premiership football as they sponsor Tottenham Hotspur so, being already familiar with the
Playtech software they use, decided to run a review for the Online Casino UK site in the Autumn of
2009. The download, install and general ease of use of the csino is very good I must say, and I had a fair bit of
success playing their games too, but the processes involved in cashing out were frustrating and slow as you'll
see later in this casino review, especially when compared to it's main Playtech rivals,
SEGA Casino and Bet365 casino
There is also a good selection of video poker games in different formats. You have several bonus video poker variants and popular games like Deuces Wild in 1 - 50 hand formats. The slots selection at Mansion is very good. All of the newer Playtech slots are here, including Novel slots like Gladiator, Hulk and Ironman alongside some of the old favourites like Desert Treasure and A Night Out. A very good range.
But I had some luck and cashed out a decent sum. In fact, of all the online casino reviews on Online Casino UK, Mansion casino was the friendliest when it came to winning until I played at the SEGA casino, which coincidentally is also on Playtech software! The cashout process at Mansion was a pain in the proverbials though. I had to wait 48 hours for them to process the funds, then a day later had an email asking to send scanned ID. This is quite normal - every online casino is obliged to do this. But the email was confusingly worded and I misunderstood the request. Had to be asked again 24 hours later to send again. Then there was a wait while they ID'ed me and I eventually got the money around 8 days later. When you see how quickly casinos like 32Red Casino deal with these things this is too slow in my opinion, but I did get the money and the following cashout itself was smooth even though it took them 3 days to process it.
If you play regularly, like to be offered lots of bonuses and don't mind the 40x wagering restrictions and you can put up with the popups and slower than normal cashouts, then Mansion casino will give you what you need.

Mansion Casino Games
I'm definitely a fan of Playtech software having played it before at several online casinos so the key for me with Mansion was to find out which games they carried and how the software ran. As previously mentioned, install and set up was easy and the first thing I noticed was that Mansion appears to have the full Playtech games suite. This comprises some 200 games including a good selection of traditional casino games such as Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and some niche games.
Support & Service
I can't really fault the speed of support. They were generally very prompt and "live chat" was also responsive. They also seemed to have grasp on things I asked, understanding terminology like "reverse pending" and the like. One thing that annoyed me, but some players may see as a plus point, is that frequently while playing I would get a popup from support staff asking if I wanted a bonus. I don't play with bonuses because they restrict cashing out and what annoyed me most was that they never told you the restrictions before crediting the bonus unless you asked (40x wagering). I find it annoying, especially when you are already winning and the popup comes along! The cynic in me says it's to make it more difficult to cash out your winnings. But I had some luck and cashed out a decent sum. Conclusion
In my opinion, Mansion casino could be a very good casino but is let down by back office procedures. It has everything in place to rival the likes of Bet365 casino, which also operates on Playtech software, but it has this pushy support staff aspect and over-complex ID procedures. My overriding feeling at the end of the review process was one of frustration - if I didn't know better I'd have thought support staff were paid commission only! They were very pushy, and while clearly the procedures for cashouts were spot on in terms of legal responsibilities and following the required guidelines, they were slow and the way they were presented to me lacked clarity and and made the process frustrating. Even USA-facing RTG software-powered casinos like iNetBet Casino and Club USA casino put this to shame. If you play regularly, like to be offered lots of bonuses and don't mind the 40x wagering restrictions and you can put up with the popups and slower than normal cashouts, then Mansion casino will give you what you need.
