Paddy Power Casino Review

Paddy Power Casino has recently (October 2011) undergone a bit of a refit but thankfully it's an improvement all round. They used to operate a download casino using Boss Media software - very average - and a very good 'Instant Play' casino primarily using the now defunct Wagerworks platform. I've been a player there for several years and was pleased to see this change even though the service at Paddy Power has always been excellent.

Paddy Power's Boss Media casino has been replaced with a Playtech casino download which happens to be one of my favourite software platforms. It has a very good selection of card games and video pokers along with some of the best slots in the online space, notably the Marvel slots Fantastic4, X-Men and Hulk plus games like Rocky, Kong and one of my all-time favourites, Great Blue (big ultipliers and stacked wilds!).

The IGT games that were present on Paddy Power Casino prior to the change have been moved to Paddy Power Games which is reviewed in the next section. Overall it's my opinion that this change is very positive and most players will be happy with this.

It's really the slot games that stand out on Paddy Power casino. Using Wagerworks software which is owned by IGT (UK), this means that Paddy Power casino has several well known slot machines to play online. These include favourites like "Cleopatra", "Cleopatra II", "Wolf Run", "Davinci Diamonds" and "Pharaohs Fortune" among quite a few others like "Monopoly" and "Cluedo".

As far as more traditional casino games go then you need to head over to the Paddy Power Casino as the Games section is primarily slots and scratch card focused. All the games in this section are played in a web browser while Paddy Power Casino (the Playtech product) has to be downloaded. Signing up an account at one gives access to both products anyway and the banking system is the same one.

It's hard not to like Paddy Power casino. There is little to fault them or the games and they conduct business in a very friendly manner. Some of the casino promotions are excellent - can't say that for a lot of the casinos I have reviewed at Online Casino UK - and support is very efficient. I have to recommend Paddy Power casino and the fact I have played here for so long is no coincidence.
