Playtech Casinos

During late 2009 and 2010 I have been downloading and playing at a slew of Playtech casinos to try and find the best ones. Unlike casinos using other software, casinos on the Playtech platform get a choice as to which games they licence so there are some variations. Plus, those of you who have played Playtech casinos before will probably be aware that some of them can be a bit pushy and slow in paying out when you win. This is a major issue for me, so fast cashouts and not being constantly hassled play a large part in my opinions. See below for my conclusions.

Most of the Playtech casinos listed above have the majority of Playtech's extensive table, card and roulette games suite so whichever you choose, you'll probably find the game you are after. The main differences come in the Live Casino games and the slots that are on offer.

The leader of the bunch in this regard is Bet365 Casino which seems to get all the games as soon as they appear. They have a unique live casino games suite where you can choose European or Asian dealers and games like Blackjack, Sic Bo, Baccarat or Roulette. They call it "Dual Network" and it's available in both the download or the Flash version of Bet365. The newer SEGA Casino has a few of the newer slots like Gladiator too, but the games seem to arrive a little later. The best secondry alternatives for slots players are probably Betfair Casino who also seem to have the full range on offer while Mansion casino also have the majority of new Playtech slots.

Two things really bug me at Playtech casinos. Slow cashouts and annoying support staff ho bug you as soon as you log in. Regards cashouts, the fastest I have found are Tote casino if you are using a debit card to depost and withdraw - 2 -3 days max to have it back in my UK bank account - or SEGA for Neteller where I have had a withdrawal back inside 3 hours before now (it's normally 24 hours max). The excellent Bet365 strike a happy medium and give you easier options for switching between cards and eWallets.

Of all the big name brands, the best Playtech casinos for bonuses also happen to be the slowest to pay. Both Mansion casino and the disappointing William Hill provide frequent bonuses, but take a minimum of 48 hours to process any withdrawal requests. Both also have annoying popups when you log in sending yu into a chat session with a rep. In fact, even SEGA casino has this annoyance, although I asked them not to and to be fair, they haven't done so since.

Of all the Playtech casinos listed on this page, three stand out and are ones I continue to play regularly. These are Bet365, Betfair and SEGA. They offer a good balance between games choice, service and cashouts although SEGA is still finding it's feet as I write and does require a little more interaction with support in Live Chat from time to time. That said, they are responsive. The other one I would also play if they had more slots is ToteSport casino because of their fast cashouts.

I should really also mention Centrebet and UK bookmaker Betfred who also run solid Playtech casinos, but the games choice is a little less exciting. That said, Centrebet's live games are very good.

Although slow at cashing out and a bit annoying at times, if you don't mind that and you like regular bonuses, then Mansion and William Hill are the best bets - the other Playtech casinos listed above don't really come close in terms of bonuses.
